I was on the WoW Test realm, a realm which tests the forthcoming patches (in this case, patch 3.3).

There was this 2 hour period on Friday in which the Blizzard GMs came online to try the new PUG feature in the patch.

Some of the bored GMs decided to wreck havoc on Orgrimmar by unleashing bosses from the different eras in WoW.

In the light of YET another hacking problem, we have a few updated advice to give to the guildies.

1. Do NOT buy gold OR power leveling services. Using such services requires you to give your account information to the sellers. Also, you’re breaking the Blizzard Terms of Conditions, and are paying huge amount of real life cash for game gold. Isn’t that a bit pointless? That money is better spent on this or this.

2. These game scammers have found new ways to trick players for their account information. They pretend to be Blizzard GMs whispering to you about a cool website where you can get free items. Do NOT fall for these tricks, do NOT visit those sites, and most importantly, do NOT give them any of your account info! Some of these fake Blizzard sites look exactly like the real one. So whatever you do, don’t even think of going to those sites whispered to you. REMEMBER that Blizzard GMs have a special chat box to talk to you with, and does not use our standard chat interface.

3. Change your password for your account & email regularly. This is considered a general way to practice good internet security, especially in the midst of countless scams and hacks that have plagued the internet since its popularity began.

4. Get a Blizzard Authenticator from here, or download one for your phone or iPod Touch here. It uses the same technology used for secured online banking, and is currently the best way to secure your account.

5. In case you do get hacked, you might want to alert any of the officers about it so they can demote you, especially because your rankings allow you to withdraw items from the guild bank. So to preserve the integrity of the items, we highly recommend you to alert us as soon as possible. You can leave a comments in any of the posts, as those comments get sent to the officer’s email, which is read regularly.

Newton Circus Barbecue Flame Thrower.

Some may say that “Oh this boss is easy… this is just the first boss”… but whatever…

When a raid boss is down, it calls for a celebration… no matter how big or small he/she/it is… isn’t this how we enjoy life’s smallest pleasure… moreover, this is definitely a small guild achievement! ^^

Under the great leadership from one of our superb raid leaders (all the RLs are great… hahaha..), Blacky, we managed to down Flame Leviathan after a few tries. Thanks to all who participated in this raid, it was definitely a fun and team building run! ^^ Congratulations to all the looters and also we will be back for Ironsoul for all the melee who wants this kick-arse weapon!

Evil and Hime: Am sure 2 of you are having a fantastic time in Taiwan, but please come back soon! Miss you 2! ^^

Argent Hippogryph – 250 Champion Seal: 50 days@5 seals/day

4 Fraction Mount – 100 x 4 = 400 Champion Seal: 80 days@5 seals/day

4 Fraction Non-combat pets – 40 x 4  = 160 Champion Seal: 32days@5 seals/day

Total – 50+80+32=162 days to get flying+land mount and pets.

Argent Tournament Music.

The 3.1 patch brought us Ulduar, dual spec and of course the lovely and fun Argent Tournament. Since then AT ground has been one of my favourite area due to the music that came together with it… from calm and peaceful to power-punched to bustling town, the music of Argent Tournament has definitely showed that Blizzard putting in efforts to make Argent Tournament different from the rest of the areas.

When I’m WOWorking (WOWing+Working), Argent Tournament ground will be the place to park my toon and listen to the music while I do my stuffs and work. Below are some gems I discovered to tide those server downtime or no WOW days.
